Have you considered the possibility that maybe people like AirPods because they work well and have impressive range and battery life? Or is it solely vanity and brand allegiance? Also, the idea that AirPods “look great with your iPhone” is a very strange one since people tend not to hold their smartphones up next to their wireless headphones/earbuds — they keep them in their pockets and bags.
